Off to India!

Bob, my sister, Hilary, and I have signed up for a 16-day tour called "India: Birds and History". We're flying into New Delhi on Nov 19, meeting our group on the 21st, and setting off on a road trip of the state of Rajasthan in the north west of India.

We'll start at the Taj Mahal, then on to Bharatpur for six days as we explore the Unesco-listed Keoladeo Ghana National Park with its famous wetlands and bird sanctuary.  Then we're off to the pink sandstone capitol of Jaipur, founded by an astronomer king!  We next explore the blue city of Jodphur, and then the desert fort in Jaisalmer, before returning to Jodphur to take the night train back to New Delhi.
